Rob and Hilary

June 2013, 5 weeks & October 2013, 2 weeks house sit
During 2013 we travelled overseas twice, (one trip was for five weeks, and the other for two), and on both occasions we had Emily and Mark housesit our home and animals, (Stella our German Shepherd X dog, and Solomon our Birman X cat).
We cannot speak highly enough of both Emily and Mark. They treated our home with the utmost of respect, and lavished love and attention on our pets.  It was especially wonderful to receive regular emails and photos from Mark while we were away, showing how very happy and relaxed our animals were.

Our property and home were looked after perfectly, (Emily even researching an organic solution to try and rid my vegetable garden of aphids!), and on both occasions we returned home to a spotless house. In fact our last holiday was partly to celebrate a milestone birthday, and Emily and Mark had very thoughtfully left a card and home baking for us to arrive home to).

We definitely recommend Emily and Mark as house sitters, as we know that they will look after your home and possessions with great care and respect.

About our house sit
Rob and Hilary were our second ever house sit, after meeting Rob, Hilary, Stella (dog) and Solomon (cat) to ensure everyone was happy and Stella and Solomon were comfortable with us, we were delighted they wanted us to look after their pets and house.

Stella is a beautiful 10 year old German shepherd, who has the energy of a puppy and Solomon is a gorgeous Birman cat who loves cuddles.

We house sat for Rob and Hilary for a month in July and again in October, 2013 for 2 weeks.

Stella took Mark for lots of walks and had a great time playing together. Solomon had a night curfew, so was kept in after dinner, as he got into scraps with a local cat. During our October house sit Stella stayed at her grandparents, as they love to have her around too.

We also ensured the house was kept clean, garden free of poo’s and kept in a good state – I leave the gardening to Emily as she has the green fingers.
